For the last 7 years my wife and I have traveled the U.S as ministers preaching to and praying for people from all walks
of life that had been abused in many different ways.We saw a common theme in all we met. They just wanted to know that someone
cared and that they were valuable. They needed to have their broken spirits restored.God blessed us with the chance to help
restore their faith in him and in mankind and we saw many people healed and set free from all the pain of their past. After
our travels God blessed us with a 9 acre farm, complete with a stocked lake, barn and horse stalls. On our first day in our new
home we walked the land God had so lovingly designed for us and prayed and told God that we give it back to him for his will
to be done.We didn't know what that will was at the time but a few weeks later we were driving down a country road and God
spoke to me and said stop at this house.I did as instructed and while there we noticed a field of horses. The owners came out
and we talked for a while about their beautiful horeses. While we spoke I noticed 1 horse was smaller than the others and stayed
away from humans.I ask about that horse and they said you want him he is no good to us.So that began Restoration Ranch. We
took this very underweight beaten, sad horse to the land God gave us and began to feed him, talk to him, caress him and after
a week he finially came to us when we called him and laid his head on our shoulders and licked our faces. We named him diamond.because
he was our diamond in the rough. We have since rescued 4 more horses,Sarah,Yaweah,Mercy and Grace. We had discovered the purpose
for the home God had blessed us with. We made a pledge to our horses that they would NEVER again suffer or know an unkind
hand and we intend to open up our hearts and home to any horse who needs a place to call home.
